Pearls

Pearls are at the heart of most of our designs. They are timeless, feminine, and full of quiet strength.

We work exclusively with genuine, oyster-formed freshwater pearls, cultured with care and selected for their high lustre, surface quality, and durability. These pearls are sourced from trusted suppliers in Asia and are never synthetic or imitation.

Where applicable, our round pearls are AAA graded, while our baroque pearls, known for their organic, irregular shapes, are hand-selected for their radiant glow and unique charm.

Each pearl carries its own natural character. No two are ever the same, which makes your piece one-of-a-kind. They’re naturally imperfect, quietly elegant, and incredibly resilient, meant to be worn, loved, and passed down.

At Emmrelle, we value the integrity of natural pearls. While some pearls in the jewellery industry are dyed or treated to alter their colour, we prioritise pearls that have either been left untreated or only gently enhanced using industry-standard, non-invasive techniques to maintain their authentic beauty and longevity.

Pearls have also long been associated with emotional balance, confidence, and calming energy, a beautiful blend of aesthetic and symbolic value that makes them more than just adornment.

14k Gold-Filled

Gold-filled jewellery offers the luxurious look of solid gold with enhanced durability and affordability. Unlike gold-plated pieces, gold-filled jewellery features a thick layer of solid gold bonded to a high-quality base metal using heat and pressure, over 100 times thicker than standard plating.

Gold-filled pieces are also hypoallergenic, making them a great option for those with sensitive skin.

The result is lasting brilliance, skin-friendly wear, and long-term durability, ideal for timeless style without the price tag of solid gold.

Sterling Silver

Necklace Sizing

All adjustable necklaces come with a 2″ (5 cm) extension chain. This helps you choose where it sits on your neck.

However, our toggle necklaces have fixed-length, offering a sleeker, tailored look, so it’s especially important to choose your size with care.

These are our curated, inclusive necklace sizes (+ 2-inch / 5 cm extension for the adjustable necklaces):

12 inches (30 cm)
14 inches (35 cm)
16 inches (40 cm)
18 inches (45 cm)
20 inches (50 cm)
22 inches (55 cm)
24 inches (60 cm)

For our longline designs, we’ve also added sizes up to 30 inches (75 cm) to give you that elegant, elongated silhouette.

How to Choose Your Necklace Size

Step 1: Measure Your Neck

Wrap a soft measuring tape (or string) gently around your neck where you’d like the necklace to sit. Don’t pull too tight.
If you’re using string, mark the spot, then measure it with a ruler.

Step 2: Choose Your Preferred Fit Style

Do you prefer a snug collar, a classic choker, or something longer that layers gracefully over your outfit?

Step 3: Use the Size Charts to find the perfect size for your desired look

Match your neck measurement  and preferred fit style to the closest size in the chart below. 

If you're between sizes, size up for comfort.

How to Choose Your Bracelet Size

Step 1: Measure Your Wrist

Wrap a measuring tape or string around your wrist just above the wrist bone (where a bracelet would normally sit).

If you’re using a string, mark the spot and measure it flat.

Step 2: Use the Size Charts to find the perfect size

All Emmrelle bracelets come with a 1″ (2.5 cm) extender so you can adjust the fit, whether you like a snug or relaxed look.

How to Choose Your Bangle Size

Our bangles have a unique sizing system as they are rigid and non-adjustable. 

To find your perfect bangle size, you’ll want to measure the widest part of your hand, not your wrist, since the bangle has to slide over it.

Here’s how to do it with just a string or measuring tape:

  1. Bring your fingers together like you’re about to slip on a bangle.
  2. Wrap a string or flexible tape around the widest part of your hand (usually around the knuckles).
  3. Mark where the ends meet.
  4. Lay the string flat and measure it with a ruler.

Add about 1.5 to 2 cm (0.6 to 0.8 inches) to this measurement for comfort. This final number is your ideal bangle circumference.

Pearl Ring Sizing 

Our rings are available in standard UK sizes, ranging from D to Z, so you can find your perfect fit whether you wear dainty pinky rings or bold statement pieces.

Tips for Measuring Your Ring Size:

  • Temperature can affect ring size, so it's best to measure at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest.
  • Choose a size that feels secure on your finger but can still slide over your knuckle comfortably.

How to Find Your Ring Size

Step 1: Find your finger measurement 

Use a Ring You Already Own

Pick a ring that fits the finger you want to size. Measure the inside diameter (side to side) across the center of the ring.

Or, Use Paper or String

Wrap a strip of paper or string around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps and measure the length.

Step 2: Match the measurement to the chart below

or match your known US/EU ring size to the UK size.
